Moen Smart Filtration

As Moen explored whether it should enter a crowded water-filtration space, Design was asked to create a future-casting vision for what an ideal filtration experience could look like in the kitchen.

Design explored a wide range of existing filtration solutions both consumer and commercial in nature. Using design-thinking principals, a number of pain points were identified and used as a means of creating meaningful differentiation in a commoditized market. This effort resulted in an executive team presentation that inspired Moen to make the leap into the water quality/filtration business segment, confident that they could offer a compelling and innovative solution, as a key part of the new digital water ecosystem, the Moen Smart Water Network.
