  • Leaders work for their team, not the other way around.

A team that has no trust, has no chance.

Micromanagers control details. Leaders navigate outcomes.

Never waste a good teaching moment.

If you think you have all the answers, ask someone else.

A leader can be measured by the number of leaders they create.

Don’t trip over the finish line.

  • Form follows brand.

Since the 1890’s we’ve lived in a world that followed a “form follows function” ethos. Jayson believes design as a profession and a function of the culture have matured beyond mere function, comfort and ease-of-use.  It is now incumbent on design to meet more than functional requirements for a product or service, design must be recognizable and connected to its brand.  Design walks the talk of the brand, like a body to the soul.
